DECEMBER EVENTS, ENTERTAINMENT AND PROMOTIONS AT INN OF THE MOUNTAIN GODS

MESCALERO, N.M. (November 22, 2016)— The year may be coming to an end, but the fun at Inn of the Mountain Gods, Ski Apache and Casino Apache Travel Center is just beginning with new promotions, events and all-star entertainment courtesy of Gary Allan. 

Entertainment:
Gary Allan – Friday, Dec. 2
Despite his Southern California upbringing, Gary Allan has become a staple of country music with his uniquely emotional brand of honky-tonk country. The 48-year old has seen his last six albums peak in the top five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, with his most recent release “Set You Free” hitting No.1 on both the Top Country Chart and the Billboard 200. Those six albums have included four No. 1 hits including “Man to Man,” “Tough Little Boys,” “Nothing on but the Radio” and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).”

Teton Gravity Movie Night – Saturday, Dec. 3
Ski Apache and Teton Gravity Research (TGR) are set to welcome winter’s return with the premiere of TGR’s newest film, “Tight Loose,” on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. at Sacred Grounds Coffee and Tea House. A celebration of TGR’s 21st birthday, “Tight Loose” is a film that celebrates everything that makes the company what it is today. From jaw-dropping lines through Alaskan mountain ranges to rambunctious après ski revelry, this is a film that wholeheartedly embodies the culture of winter sports. Tickets start at $8 for adults and $5 for children 13 years old and younger. Attendees over the age of 21 can enjoy a cocktail or beer among other non-alcoholic offerings.

Wendell’s Steak & Seafood Christmas Brunch – Sunday, Dec. 25
Leave your worries at home and let Wendell’s Steak and Seafood do the cooking at the Christmas Brunch on Christmas day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Christmas Brunch menu features plenty of exquisite Christmas fares to choose from, such as Honey Ginger Glazed Virginia Baked Ham, cinnamon maple glazed sweet potato casserole or classic snow crab. Christmas Brunch is $47.99 for adults, $38.99 for seniors and $20.99 for children under 12. Reservations are highly recommended.

Gathering of Nations Christmas Day Buffet – Sunday, Dec. 25
Gathering of Nations is celebrating the holidays with a special international Christmas menu from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can choose from an eclectic array of selections from around the world, such as Japanese Yakisoba Chicken, Kielbasa Sausage, Barbacoa De Cachete or fresh carved baked orange glazed coffee pit ham. Entrance to the Christmas Day Buffet is $29.99 for adults, $24.99 for seniors and $16.99 for children under 12. 

Dummy Gelunde Launch and Torchlight Parade – Wednesday, Dec. 28
The Dummy Gelunde Launch returns to Ski Apache Saturday, Dec. 19 at 3 p.m. Dummies handcrafted by three-person teams will take to the skies as they are launched off of a massive jump between the Captain Heavy and Easy Street runs. Each dummy is judged on distance, height, landing, and creativity. The first place finisher takes home $1,500 while second place gets $750 and third place wins $500. Later that evening guests can enjoy the annual Torchlight Parade beginning at sundown. Torch-bearing skiers will glide down the mountain to the rhythm of traditional Native American music and end the night, a dazzling fireworks display.

New Years Eve Party – Sunday, Dec. 31
Bid farewell to the old and ring in the new at Inn of the Mountain Gods’ New Year’s Eve Party, 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m, Dec. 31-Jan. 1. The evening kicks off with a gourmet dinner with choices like smoked salmon and carved prime rib followed by music from DJ Frizzo and live performances from the likes of JMA & the Hard Livin’ Band, Abe Mac Band, and Hillbilly Starz before a champagne toast at midnight. Additionally, the evening will feature more than $70,000 in cash and prizes. This 21 and older event is $125 with limited seating.

Laugh All the Way to the Bank – Now through Dec.28
This December, guests at Inn of the Mountain Gods will have the chance to win up to $200 cash or up to $100 in Free Spirit Play just for attending LOL Comedy Night. To enter, guests simply drop their Club 49 ticket stub along with their first and last name into the drawing drum. Drawings will be held after the show, Wednesdays at 9 p.m.

Honor Our Soldier’s Enrollment Opportunities – Now through Oct. 31, 2017
Apache Spirit Club members can enroll in the Honor Our Soldiers club. Honor Our Soldiers club members receive 20 percent discounts on dining, concert tickets, hotel rates and at the Stronghold Gift Shop plus exclusive VIP concert meet and greet opportunities.

Honor Our Soldiers Merry Multiplier – Dec. 1-29
Apache Spirit Club members enrolled in the Honor Our Soldiers club can earn up to seven times point multipliers thanks to the Honor Our Soldiers Merry Multiplier Thursdays in December from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center. Players who earn five points and swipe their Apache Spirit Club card can win up to seven times points.

$50,000 Crazy Christmas Elf – Dec. 1, 8 and 15
There’s a crazy Christmas elf on the loose at Casino Apache Travel Center, where Apache Spirit Club members can win $50,000 cash. ASC players who swipe their card between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 8 and 15 will be entered into the half-hour drawings where they have the chance to win up to $200 in Free Spirit Play or $50,000 cash.

Loco for Locals Blizzard of Cash – Dec.2-30
Fridays are for Locals this December at Casino Apache Travel Center with the Blizzard of Cash Giveaway. Players who swipe the Apache Spirit Club card and earn 10 points will earn one entry into the drawings at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Five players will then be selected at each drawing to step into the Blizzard of Cash cube where they can grab up to $1,200.

Polar Pay Day Hot Seats – Dec. 2-30
Get into Casino Apache and find your hot seat every Friday this December during Polar Pay Day Hot Seats. Apache Spirit Club players who swipe their club card and play between 1 p.m. and 10:55 p.m. will automatically be entered into the hot seat drawings, where $15,000 in cash prizes are up for grabs. 

Treasure Tree Drawing – Dec. 3, 10 & 17
Unlock your treasure and win up to $250,000 at Inn of the Mountain Gods this December with the Treasure Tree Drawing Monday, Dec. 3, 10 and 17. Apache Spirit Club members who earn 50 points will earn one entry into the 7 p.m. drawing.

Pick a Present – Dec. 4-25
Pick a present and win up to 10 times multiplier at Casino Apache Travel Center and Inn of the Mountain Gods between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. every Sunday and Tuesday before Christmas this December. Apache Spirit Club members can earn up to 10 times points when they earn 10 points and swipe their Apache Spirit Club card. Every swipe is a winner.

High 5’s for 55’s December Dough Slot Tournament – Dec. 7-28
Seniors 55 and older can win up to $250 cash or $50 Free Spirit Play during the December Dough Slot Tournament, Wednesday in December from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Additionally, High 5’s for 55’s players receive five times point multipliers every Monday as well as 50 percent off dining at Gathering of Nations Buffet, Big Game Sports Bar or Casino Apache Travel Center’s Smokey B’s.

Spirit of the Season Toy Drive – Through Dec. 17
Help children in need and receive $10 Free Spirit Play when you donate an unopened, unused and unwrapped toy valued greater than $10, Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. at Inn of the Mountain Gods or Casino Apache Travel Center. Donations will be accepted at the Apache Spirit Club on promotional days. Please, no stuffed animals or stuffed toys.

$20,000 Texas Ho Ho Hold’Em – December 18
Apache Spirit Club members are invited to the $20,000 Texas Ho Ho Hold ‘Em on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. Players can buy-in for $230 now until the day of the tournament. Each buy-in goes toward the total cash prize payout. Take advantage of early bird registration before Dec. 9 a receive a buffet for two in addition to $50 in Free Spirit Play valid for all table games. 

New Year’s End of the Year Spectacular- Dec. 30 & 31
Ring in the New Year with $96,000 in cash and prizes at Inn of the Mountain Gods New Year’s End of the Year Spectacular, Dec. 30 and 31. Both days will feature drawings every half hour from 12 p.m.-12:30 a.m., where Apache Spirit Club members can win their share of $4,000 on Friday, Dec. 30 or a share of $20,000 on Saturday, Dec. 31.
