Movie on the Lake
Saturday, August 11

Guests can watch their favorite movies while floating over the water and under the stars. This 18 and up event kicks off Aug. 11 with the science fiction thriller, “The Fourth Kind,” and will no doubt be an unforgettable night. The movie is free to watch, or guests can rent a boat for only $20. Boat rentals include one bag of popcorn, one non-alcoholic beverage and two candy items, with boats loading between 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Movie begins at dusk. Alcohol will be available for an additional cost.

Friday, August 24

One of the most popular funk groups of the ‘70s, War freely melds soul, Latin, jazz, blues reggae, and rock influences into an effortless and eclectic symphony. The group is known for always keeping the groove loose, in fact, many of their studio songs were edited together out of longer improvisations. They are best known for such hits as “Low Rider,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends?,” “Spill The Wine,” “The Cisco Kid” and “Slippin’ Into Darkness.” War continues to draw large crowds, either on the nostalgia group tour or playing at festivals internationally. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets start at $29.

Famed Elvis impersonator Justin Shandor is returning to Inn of the Mountain Gods on Saturday, Aug. 26. Justin Shandor’s uncanny physical and vocal resemblance to Elvis Presley has brought women to tears and audiences to repeated standing ovations proving he’s as close as you’ll get to the real deal. He made his national TV debut in 2013, performing on the David Letterman Show in front of an estimated 3.5 million viewers. Shandor came in first place at an invite-only contest held in Memphis to determine the best Elvis impersonator in the world, and Graceland named him “World’s Ultimate Elvis!” Guests don’t want to miss this chance to get up close to the legend himself. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets start at $55.

Sunday Under the Stars – Sundays, August 5 & 12
Guests are invited to enjoy a free, family-friendly movie night at Inn of the Mountain Gods August 5 and 12 at 8 p.m. for Sunday Under the Stars. This month’s lineup includes Annie on Aug. 5 and Brother Bear on Aug. 12. Attendees are encouraged to bring low-back chairs and blankets to relax and stretch out on the lawn. End of Summer Bash
Sunday, September 2

Guests are invited to Inn of the Mountain Gods in a send off to summer with food, music and fireworks at the End of Summer Bash on Sunday, Sept. 2. The family-friendly event begins at 3 p.m. with jumping balloons and concessions and at 5 p.m. guests can enjoy live music on the lawn. 8th Annual Poker Tournament Shootouts
August 17-20

Join Inn of the Mountain Gods for a buy-in Texas Hold-em Poker Tournament Shootout, as players compete to earn a coveted seat in the 8th Annual $100,000 Poker Championships tournament, taking place August 17-20. Sign-ups begin August 13 and close August 17 in the Poker Room.

Summer League Poker Tournament
Mondays and Tuesdays

Poker enthusiasts can win big at the Summer League Poker Tournament, taking place every Monday and Tuesday through September 11 at Inn of the Mountain God’s Poker Room.

Poker Darts
Wednesdays and Thursdays

Poker fans can dart in and win up to $200 in Free Spirit Play every Wednesday and Thursday through August. Sessions are held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. After two hours of live poker play, players will get a chance to throw six darts at a board consisting of 52 playing cards to try and achieve the highest hand for great prizes. Qualify with a full house or higher and you’ll win a seat in a specified tournament!
