OCTOBER EVENTS, ENTERTAINMENT, PROMOTIONS AT INN OF THE MOUNTAIN GODS

MESCALERO, N.M. (September 27, 2016)— Join Inn of the Mountain Gods this October for a wide variety of entertainment with contemporary Christian and country hit-makers, spooky casino promotions and endless outdoor fun at New Mexico’s premier resort casino.

Movie on the Lake – Saturday, Oct. 1
See classic slasher horror film “Friday the 13th” like never before at Movie on the Lake on Saturday, Oct. 1. For $20 per person attendees receive a snack pack and boat seat for a night on the lake under the stars. Boats load from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the movie begins promptly at 7:45 p.m. The small boats seat two to four people and viewers will receive their snack pack when loading the boat. Participants will be out on the lake in the crisp night air so it is recommended that attendees dress accordingly. This is a 21 and older event.

Chris Tomlin – Saturday, Oct. 8
Contemporary Christian music’s hottest artist, Chris Tomlin is coming to the Inn of the Mountain Gods on Saturday, Oct. 8. Hailing from Grand Saline, Texas, Tomlin has released eight albums over his 15 year career, garnering two RIAA gold certifications, two platinum certifications and four top 200 albums, most notably 2013’s “Burning Lights,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, one of only four Christian albums to ever do so, thanks to singles like “Whom Shall I Fear [God of Angel Armies]” and “God’s Great Dance Floor.” Tomlin’s other hit singles include 2004’s “How Great is Our God,” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart and “Our God,” which spent 10 weeks at the number one spot on the Hot Christian Songs chart in 2010.

Party on the Mountain at Ski Apache – Saturday, Oct. 15
Say goodbye summer and hello winter at Party on the Mountain Saturday, Oct. 15. The bash, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., will include delicious food, live music, a longest drive golf competition and more. The day also marks the last chance to purchase discounted season passes for Ski Apache. Enjoy the last opportunity for summer recreation like hiking, biking or playing nine holes of disc golf until next summer.

Brett Eldredge – Sunday, Oct. 23
Brett Eldredge returns to the Inn of the Mountain Gods stage on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. Like many modern country artists, Eldredge first began as a songwriter, penning songs for country legend Gary Allan. Eldredge’s debut album “Bring You Back,” peaked at No.11 thanks to the No.1 singles “Don’t Ya,” “Beat of the Music” and “Mean to Me.” Eldredge’s most recent record, “Illinois,” continued Eldredge’s success, peaking at No.1 and featuring the No.1 single “Lose My Mind” and the No. 2 single “Drunk on Your Love.” Tickets for Eldredge’s Oct. 23 performance start at $30.

The Rise of Bankenstein- Oct. 1 – 31
Bring your wallet to life with the Rise of Bankenstein Slot Tournament on Saturdays and Sundays this October at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache where players can win up to $15,000. For every 20 points earned throughout October, Spirit Club members will gain one entry into the drawing at the end of the month. All players must activate their entries at any Apache Spirit Club kiosk between 1 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. before the final drawing on Oct. 31 at 9 p.m.

Pick Your Pumpkin- Oct. 7 – 28
Join Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center Fridays in October for the Pick Your Pumpkin promotion. Apache Spirit Club members who earn 20 points and swipe their club card at any Apache Spirit Club kiosk will be eligible for the promotion where up to $1,000 in Free Spirit Play, $100 in dining credits, 10x point multipliers and 15,000 bonus points will be up for grabs during promotion hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Spooktacular Bonus Points- Oct. 1 – 29
Saturdays at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center are downright spooky this October. Local Apache Spirit Club Members can win up to 100,000 bonus points after they earn 10 points and swipe their club card at any ASC kiosk between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Jeepers Creepers- Oct. 2 – Oct. 29
Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center give slot and table game players a chance to drive home in a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Jeepers Creepers giveaway. Apache Spirit Club members will gain one entry into the giveaway for every 50 points earned Sundays and Thursdays, while 50 points grant five entries on Tuesdays. The final drawing will happen on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at Casino Apache Travel Center.

High Fives for 55’s Trick or Treat- Oct. 5 – 26
You’re never too old for trick or treating at Casino Apache Travel Center with the High Fives for 55’s Trick or Treat Weekly Drawing, every Wednesday in October. Seniors 55 and older who swipe their Apache Spirit Club Card get free entry into the 6 p.m. drawings. Additional entries can be earned for every ten points gained. One winner will be drawn every hour between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., where the lucky winner will pick one of fifteen jack-o-lanterns holding $50 to $100 in free spirit play and cash prizes up to $500. Additionally, seniors can take 50% off dining every Monday or Wednesday at the Gathering of Nations Buffet, Big Game Sports Bar, Apache Tee or Smokey B’s by printing a dining voucher at any Apache Spirit Club kiosk.

Coins for Cans- Oct. 1 – Nov. 29
Coins for Cans is back this fall at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center after September’s promotional donation drive accumulated a total of 1,671 pounds of non-perishable food for local schools. The drive continues every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday through Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., where Apache Spirit Club members who donate five cans of non-perishable food will receive a five times multiplier for the entire day. Club members who donate two peanut butter items with their five cans will earn a seven times multiplier for that day.

Laugh All the Way to the Bank – Oct. 7- Dec. 28
This October, November and December, guests at Inn of the Mountain Gods will have the chance to win up to $200 cash or up to $100 in Free Spirit Play just for attending LOL Comedy Night. To enter, guests simply drop their Club 49 ticket stub along with their first and last name into the drawing drum. Drawings will be held after the show, Wednesdays at 9 p.m.

Friday Night Kickoff – Oct. 7 – Nov. 25
Kick the weekend off with a bang at Casino Apache Travel Center during Friday Night Kickoff hot seat drawings. Apache Spirit Club members have a chance to win their share of over $25,000 in cash by earning 20 points between 3 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. every Friday through Nov. 25. Drawings start at 4:30 p.m. and will be held every half hour through 10 p.m., with $50, $75, $100, $150 and $200 cash prizes up for grabs.
