The O’Jays — July 15
The O’Jays are hitting the Inn of the Mountain Gods stage July 15 with the same electrifying energy they’ve had for over 50 years. The O’Jays have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, the Official R&B Music Hall of Fame and were honored with BET’s Life Time Achievement Award. Using their magic formula, often called “The Sound of Philadelphia,” the O’Jays scored their first No. 1 and million-seller hit “Backstabbers.” They subsequently released many chart-topping pop and R&B hits including “Love Train,” “Put Your Hands Together,” and “For The Love of Money.” Today, the songs of The O’Jays are still being used in many movies, commercials, and TV shows and are a connection to an era and a sound that formed the soundtrack for the lives of several generations.
