NOVEMBER EVENTS, ENTERTAINMENT AND PROMOTIONS AT INN OF THE MOUNTAIN GODS

MESCALERO, N.M. (October 24, 2016)— Gather with friends and family this month at Inn of the Mountain Gods with holiday promotions, brunches and dinners in addition to world-class entertainment from the likes of John Anderson with Ben and Noel Haggard on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Little River Band on Saturday, Nov. 26.

John Anderson with Ben and Noel Haggard & The Strangers – Friday, Nov. 11
It’s a country music blast from the past on Friday, Nov. 11, as country music veteran John Anderson performs at Inn of the Mountain Gods along with special guests Ben and Noel Haggard & The Strangers. Over his 39-year career, John Anderson has produced 23 albums with 20 Top 10 singles including six No. 1’s like “Wild and Blue,” “Swingin” and “Straight Tequila Night.” Joining Anderson is Ben and Noel Haggard, sons of the late Merle Haggard, along with Merle’s old band The Strangers. Ben and Noel Haggard tour together, continuing their father’s legacy by singing his songs and playing the dates Merle had planned before his passing. The Haggard brothers have recently opened for Willie Nelson and have upcoming shows with Jamey Johnson and The Oak Ridge Boys.

Gathering of Nations Thanksgiving Buffet – Thursday, Nov. 24
Join Inn of the Mountain Gods from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. this Thanksgiving for the Gathering of Nations Thanksgiving Buffet. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes including a full salad bar, Thanksgiving favorites, a carving station, divine desserts and more. Wendell’s Steak & Seafood Thanksgiving Brunch – Thursday, Nov. 24
Don’t miss out on a savory Thanksgiving Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wendell’s Steak & Seafood inside Inn of the Mountain Gods. The holiday menu features applewood smoked bacon wrapped turkey, grilled salmon fillets, roasted pumpkin soup and more. Opening Day at Ski Apache – Thursday, Nov. 24
Ski Apache, the United States’ southernmost ski resort, will open for the 2016-2017 winter season on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, weather permitting. Ski Apache features 750 skiable acres across 55 runs accessed by 11 lifts. The mountain offers a mix of wide beginner slopes, tough bump runs, a huge bowl, nice cruising runs and a terrain park with jumps, tubes, and rails. Season passes start at $365. Little River Band – Saturday, Nov. 26
Despite numerous changes in lineup and music direction, Australia’s Little River Band has been one of the most successful rock bands in the world over their 31-year career. The first Australian band to ever reach gold and platinum verification from the RIAA, Little River Band found consistent mainstream success in the United States and Australia throughout the ‘70s and early ’80s, with top 10 hits like “Reminiscing,” “The Night Owls” and “Lonesome Loser.”

Christmas Tree Lighting – Saturday, Nov. 27
Join Inn of the Mountain Gods in celebrating the season with a Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 1-6 p.m. Free to attend, the lighting starts at 1 p.m. at Barnes and Nobles opens a special holiday bookstore at the resort, followed by pictures with Santa, cookies and hot cocoa at 4 p.m. and culminating with the tree is lighting at 5:30 p.m.

Apache Spirit Club members who stop by Inn of the Mountain Gods or Casino Apache Travel Center on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in November have a chance to drive home in a new 2016 Jeep Patriot thanks to the Jeepstakes Giveaway. Every 50 points earned after swiping an Apache Spirit Club card earns one entry into the drawing on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Play on Tuesdays for an even bigger chance to win, when 50 points will grant 5 entries.

$25,000 Black Friday Cash for Christmas – Friday, Nov. 25
Let Inn of the Mountain Gods fund your Christmas shopping with the $25,000 Black Friday Cash for Christmas giveaway on Friday, Nov. 25 from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. Every half hour five players will be drawn to enter the cash cube to grab as much money as possible. Apache Spirit Club members who swipe their club card between 4:30 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. and earn 10 points will gain one entry into the twice-hourly drawings.

Fall Fest Klinko – Nov. 1-29
Apache Spirit Club members who earn 20 points from 1 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. every Tuesday in November can win up to $500 cash during Fall Fest Klinko at Casino Apache Travel Center. Club members must earn 20 points then swipe their Apache Spirit Club card at any kiosk to print their entry ticket for the 8 p.m. cash drawing.

Free the Turkey – Nov. 6-27
Free the Turkey and free your wallet at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center Sundays in November from 1 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. Each week, three Apache Spirit Club members who earn 20 points will be selected for a drawing where they will compete for prizes up to $1,500. Three winners will be selected from the drawing and given a clear locked box with a stuffed turkey inside. Each winner will be given 30 keys and will have 30 seconds to find the right key to unlock the box. If one or more players cannot open their box, they will receive $250 cash. Points can be earned from 1 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. and drawings will be at 7 p.m.

Coins for Cans – Through Nov. 29
Coins for Cans is back this fall at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center after September’s promotional donation drive accumulated a total of 1,671 pounds of non-perishable food for local schools. The drive continues every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday through Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., where Apache Spirit Club members who donate five cans of non-perishable food will receive a five times multiplier for the entire day. Club members who donate two peanut butter items with their five cans will earn a seven times multiplier for that day.

Laugh All the Way to the Bank – Through Dec. 28
This November and December, guests at Inn of the Mountain Gods will have the chance to win up to $200 cash or up to $100 in Free Spirit Play just for attending LOL Comedy Night. To enter, guests simply drop their Club 49 ticket stub along with their first and last name into the drawing drum. Drawings will be held after the show, Wednesdays at 9 p.m.

Friday Night Kickoff – Through November 25
Kick the weekend off with a bang at Casino Apache Travel Center during Friday Night Kickoff hot seat drawings. Apache Spirit Club members have a chance to win their share of over $25,000 in cash by earning 20 points between 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. every Friday through Nov. 25. Drawings will be held every half hour with $50, $75, $100, $150 and $200 cash prizes up for grabs.

Early Bird Mystery Multiplier – Nov. 4-25
It pays to play early on Fridays in November at Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center thanks to the Early Bird Mystery Multiplier. Apache Spirit Club members who earn 10 points and swipe their ASC club card between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. can win up to a 10 times points multiplier.

High Fives for 55’s Gobbler Giveaway – Nov. 2-30
Seniors 55 and over have the chance to win up to $250 in Free Spirit Play every Wednesday in November with the High Fives for 55’s Gobble Giveaway. Seniors can gain one entry to the hourly drawings from 2-4 p.m. by earning 5 points. Additionally, Mondays bring a five times point multiplier from 8-11 a.m. as well as 50% off dining at Gathering of Nations Buffet, Big Game Sports Bar and Smokey B’s every Monday and Wednesday.

Honor Our Soldier’s Enrollment Opportunities – Nov. 1, 2016 – Oct. 31, 2017
Starting Nov. 1, Apache Spirit Club members can enroll in the Honor Our Soldiers club. Honor Our Soldiers club members receive 20 percent discounts on dining, concert tickets, hotel rates and at the Stronghold Gift Shop plus exclusive VIP concert meet and greet opportunities. 

Veteran’s Salute Slot Tournament – Saturday, Nov. 12
Up to $5,000 cash is on the line for those who put it all on the line at the Veteran’s Salute Slot Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 2-4 p.m. at Inn of the Mountain Gods. To enter, participants must enroll in the “Honor Our Soldiers” club and earn 10 points.

Loco 4 Locals Fall Fortunes – Nov. 3-24
Local Apache Spirit Club members have a shot at up to $550 every Thursday at Inn of the Mountain Gods this November during Loco 4 Locals Fall Fortunes. Players who earn 10 points between 1 p.m. and 7:50 p.m. are entered in an 8 p.m. drawing where they’ll spin the Fall Fortunes slot machine to reveal how much they’ve won.
