MESCALERO, N.M. (May 10, 2018) –– Inn of the Mountain Gods is pulling out all the stops to pamper moms this Mother’s Day weekend with a family-friendly concert, an extravagant brunch and special earn and get promotion.
Friday, May 11, Kutless takes the Inn of the Mountain Gods stage for a family-friendly concert at 8 p.m. This wildly popular Christian alternative band is widely known for their powerful and uplifting performances and such chart-topping hits including “Your Touch,” “What Faith Can Do,” “Better Is One Day,” “Sea of Faces” and “Run.” Tickets start at $29. Doors open at 7 p.m.
On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13 Wendell’s Steak and Seafood is serving an extraordinary brunch to make every mom feel special with an assortment of delicious stations including carvery dishes, main courses, a huge selection of salads, a charcuterie and raw bar, an omelet station and the pastry chef’s offerings of desserts and confections. At the carvery station, guests can indulge in mushroom and spinach stuffed pork loin, garlic and rosemary rubbed beef tenderloin and elk tenderloin with caraway and roasted shallots. Other highlights include Dijon and chive whipped potatoes, summer truffle macaroni au gratin, sesame and soy glazed beef short ribs with bok choy, snapper picatta with garden beans and so much more. The price is $70 per person and $28 for children under 12. Reservations are strongly recommended.
