A KING OF COMEDY AND THE QUEEN OF CHRISTIAN POP HIT THE STAGE AT INN OF THE MOUNTAIN GODS

MESCALERO, N.M. (Feb. 6, 2019) — The February entertainment line-up at Inn of the Mountain Gods has a little something for everyone. Rodney Carrington brings his mix of stand-up comedy and original comedy songs to the stage Feb. 9 followed by GRAMMY-winning contemporary Christian music artist Amy Grant appearing Feb. 23. Rodney Carrington
Saturday, Feb. 9
What do you get when you combine a stand-up comedian, country star and famous actor? Triple-threat and sensation Rodney Carrington! Carrington is best known for performing a mix of stand-up comedy and original comedy songs, including chart-toppers “More of a Man,” “Don’t Look Now,” and “Camouflage and Christmas Lights.”He has recorded eight best-selling record label comedy albums, including “Greatest Hits” and “Make it Christmas,” and even started his own record label called Laughter’s Good Records. According to Pollstar, Carrington has been one of the top 10 highest grossing touring comedians for the last decade. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $29.

Amy Grant
Saturday, Feb. 23
The Queen of Christian Pop will be making an appearance at Inn of the Mountain Gods on Feb. 23. Amy Grant is the first contemporary Christian music artist to have a platinum record, the first to hit No. 1 on the Pop charts, and the first to perform at the GRAMMY Awards. She’s won 6 GRAMMY awards, 26 Dove awards and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her iconic voice has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, including three multi-platinum, six platinum, and four gold. Grant was also recently inducted into the Nashville Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the concert begins at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $20.

Winter Wine Down Wednesday at Wendell’s Lounge – Wednesday, Feb. 13
Guests are invited to come in from the cold and enjoy a variety of wines, appetizers from Chef Kasey Kaplan and live entertainment from Suzi Weber for just $20. From 6 to 8 p.m. guests can taste exciting new wines and culinary creations while enjoying the beautiful scenery at Wendell’s Lounge.

Laugh Out Loud at Club 49 – Every Wednesday
Guests are invited to “Laugh Out Loud” every Wednesday at 7 p.m. for Club 49’s “LOL” comedy night. Each week two new professional comedians take the stage. Tickets are just $5 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Food and drinks available.

Karaoke at Club 49 – Every Thursday
Karaoke night takes place every Thursday evening at its new home in Club 49 at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Guests are invited to join the fun; whether that involves getting behind the mic or just dropping in to watch with a couple of cocktails. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and karaoke starts at 8 p.m.

1852 Treaty Room – Live Music Every Friday

Adjacent to the restaurant, Wendell’s Lounge offers jaw-dropping views along with delicious appetizers and signature martinis, margaritas and cocktails. Live music adds to the ambiance every Saturday night from 8 p.m. to midnight. Bingo at Club 49
Wednesday – Sunday
Bingo just got even more fun at Inn of the Mountain Gods! Now taking place inside Club 49, the new location makes grabbing a bite or your favorite drink (alcoholic or soft drinks) from our friendly bar staff quick and easy. Paper and electronic packages are available, as well as daubers for purchase. Join us Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Fridays through Sundays at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. (Bingo buy-in sales open 30 minutes prior). With 11 games each session, you’ll have plenty of chances to be the one who yells BINGO!

2019 Ford F-150 Truck Giveaway
Feb. 1st – Feb. 24th
The Ford F-150 Truck Giveaway is back and better than ever! Players can earn 75 slot base points Thursdays through Sundays for an entry into the giveaway. Tuesdays are 10x the entries. Players can get a shot at their share of $12,000 by playing on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for an extra chance to win during the Hot Seat Drawings. The drawing day will be held on Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. Guests won’t want to miss their chance to drive away in style on a fresh set of wheels!

National Vacuum Day
Monday, Feb. 4
Casino Apache will play host to an all-day vacuum giveaway, because that’s how they roll! Every hour, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., one lucky Apache Spirit Club member will win a Dirt Devil Dash Upright with vacuum and dust floor tools. Players must earn 50 points for an entry into the giveaway and entries are capped at 10.

Valentine Earrings Earn & Get
Feb. 10–Feb. 15
Love is in the air this February at Inn of the Mountain Gods. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Feb. 10 through Feb. 15, Apache Spirit Club Members have the chance to play using their Spirit Club Card and receive a romantic long-stem rose along with Cubic Zirconia earrings. Just 30 slot points will score guests this sweet deal!

Winter League Poker Tournament
Mondays and Tuesdays through March 12
Inn of the Mountain Gods is piling on the winnings this winter during the Winter League Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament, taking place Mondays and Tuesdays at noon in the Poker Room. Buy-in is just $40 plus a $10 entry fee. Prize structure payouts are dependent upon the number of sign-ups. This tournament incorporates a point system logged when a player places in the top 10. Top point earners will be invited to a two-day “Bad Beat Payback” event March 14 and 15.

Loco for Locals – Snowed in to Win Progressive
Thursdays in February
Guests have the chance to win up to $2,000 cash on Thursdays in February at Casino Apache. Ten lucky winners will get to pull a tile off the Snowed in to Win board for a chance to win cash or the progressive prize. Every week the progressive prize isn’t won, more cash will be added to the total! Players can earn points from 1 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. for the 7 p.m. drawing.

Locals also get 3x the points at Casino Apache when they play their favorite machines from 8 a.m.–11:59 p.m. Also, guests can visit a kiosk to print a 50-percent-off dining coupon at Smokey B’s.

High 5’s for 55’s – Sweet Slot Tournament
Wednesdays in February 
Guests are invited to walk away with some extra moolah this month! All players ages 55 or better that earn 10 slot points between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesdays at Casino Apache receive an entry.
