What a life Florida-born Chase Rice has led. By 30 years old, Rice has been a division one football star, a champion NASCAR pit crew member and best-selling country artist. Like many contemporary country stars, Rice’s career took off as a songwriter before he became known for his singing, co-writing Florida Georgia Line’s 2012 No.1 single “Cruise.”
Rice followed up his success as a writer with a chart-topping offering of his own, the 2014 album “Ignite the Night” which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums. Rice’s most recent single “Whisper,” off his upcoming album, peaked at No. 17 on the Hot 100 country charts.
Joining Rice when he takes the stage at Inn of the Mountain Gods is seasoned country star David Nail. Despite being an active recording artist since 2002, Nail didn’t achieve mainstream success until more than a decade later, with the 2011 No.1 hit “Let it Rain” and again in 2013 with “Whatever She’s Got.” Nail’s most recent single “Night’s on Fire,” off his most recent album “Fighter,” peaked at No.17 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart.
