End of Summer Bash – Sunday, Sept. 2
Join Inn of the Mountain Gods in saying farewell to summer with live music, fun activities, delicious food and an epic fireworks display. The event begins at 3 p.m. with jumping balloons and concessions. Music starts at 5 p.m. Once dusk settles in, fireworks will light the sky over Lake Mescalero as live music continues to play in the background. Entry is free, however jumping balloon tickets are $10 per person.
3 Doors Down with Special Guest Collective Soul – Friday, Sept. 14
The highly-anticipated Rock & Roll Express Tour, featuring 3 Doors Down and Collective Soul, will be making a stop at Inn of the Mountain Gods Friday, Sept. 14.
Grammy Award-nominated multiplatinum rock band 3 Doors Down will be taking the stage at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Hailing from the state of Mississippi, the quintet became household names upon the success of their massive hit “Kryptonite,” which propelled their debut album The Better Life to platinum. Their sophomore album, Away from the Sun, reached triple-platinum, seeing profound success with “When I’m Gone,’ and “Here Without You.” The band has sold 16 million albums globally, received three Grammy nominations, won two American Music Awards, and five BMI Pop Awards for songwriting.
The multi-platinum ‘90s alternative rock group Collective Soul will be captivating audience with their hits, including “Shine,” “December” and “The World as I Know,” all of which topped out music charts. They’ve sold over 20 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2009. Don’t miss these legendary groups as they rock the stage at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Brews, Blues and BBQ – Saturday, Sept. 22
The finest in barbecue, craft beer and soulful music unite at Inn of the Mountain Gods for Brews, Blues and BBQ, taking place from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22. Guests can choose from the tastiest barbecue in the area, as well as sample over 200 varieties of beer from Ballast Point, Santa Fe Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Rio Bravo Brewing Co. and more. The cost for 10 four-ounce pours is $25 per person. There will be live blues music on the lawn set against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Mescalero. Attendees won’t want to miss out on the headliner, Iron Horse, who will be performing on the lawn. Event is free to attend, but if guests wish to partake in the libations they must purchase a wristband.
Laugh Out Loud at Club 49 – Every Wednesday
Guests are invited to “Laugh Out Loud” every Wednesday at 7 p.m. for Club 49’s “LOL” comedy night. Each week two new professional comedians take the stage. Once a week at Inn of the Mountain Gods, players are invited to come in and predict the winning teams for Monday Night NFL Football and Saturday College Football games for a chance to win a share of over $19,000 cash and free play. Entries will be printed from 8 a.m. until 4:50 p.m. and drawing times are on Fridays at 5 p.m. for college football, and 5:30 p.m. for NFL.
