MESCALERO, N.M. (March 30, 2021) – Inn of the Mountain Gods is welcoming two iconic Latin groups back to the stage May 8 and May 23. With new safety initiatives in place including limited capacity, selling seating in groups of two and mandatory masks, guests will be able to experience concerts once again in a socially distanced yet intimate setting.
Intocable – Saturday, May 8
Intocable, one of the most prominent Tejano/Norteño music groups, is set to take the stage at Inn of the Mountain Gods on Saturday, May 8. The group is known for various number one hits such as “Robarte un Beso,” “Prometí,” and “Culpable Fui (Culpable Soy),” as well as their latest hit “Tu Ausencia,” Intocable is sure to spice up the stage with their unique style of music that fuses Tejano conjunto music, Norteño folk rhythms, pop ballads and rock. Guests won’t want to miss out on the exciting experience. Tickets start at $50 per person. Doors open at 6 p.m., concert starts at 8 p.m.
Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano with Shaila Dúrcal – Sunday, May 23
Two-time Grammy award-winning band Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano and Spanish music star Shaila Dúrcal are performing at Inn of the Mountain Gods on May 23. Formed in 1961 by Natividad “Nati” Cano, the group has been instrumental in the training and mentoring of a new generation of mariachi musicians in the United States. Throughout their career, Mariachi Los Camperos have been the first mariachi band to perform at venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Theater and several others. Joining Mariachi Los Camperos is Shaila Dúrcal, Spanish singer and songwriter whose parents Rocio Durcal and Antonio Morales were also towering figures in Spanish music. Tickets start at $50 per person. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the performance starting at 8 p.m.
Each show will follow the resort’s health and safety protocols developed in collaboration with health experts. All ticketing will be completely electronic through Ticketmaster and tickets must be downloaded before the show.
