MESCALERO, N.M. (March 23, 2018)— Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort Championship Golf Course is now open for the season, weather dependent.
“Golf enthusiasts can now enjoy the beautiful spring weather on our stunning golf course,” said Frizzell Frizzell Jr. chief operating officer at Inn of the Mountain Gods. “We have one of the most beautiful courses in the entire United State, and look forward to another incredible golf season.”
Since it first appeared on the list of the 50 “Best Casino Courses” in the United States by Golfweek in 2007, Inn of the Mountain Gods Championship Golf Course has consistently been rated among the best in the nation for its spectacular scenery and fast breaking greens. Located in the Sacramento Mountains of the Southern Rockies, the 7,206-yard course is surrounded not only by forest and high desert terrain, but also by the resort’s spring-fed Lake Mescalero, demanding skill and accuracy from golfers aiming to stay in regulation.
Golfers also won’t want to miss the sale on last season golf supplies and apparel, now until Sunday, April 1 in the golf shop. The hours of operation for the golf shop are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Golf tee times start at 9 a.m.
