Ski Apache is kicking off the season with Kick off to Summer, a celebration for the first day of summer operation hours. Inn of the Mountain Gods is celebrating all season long with a multitude of fun, festive events and annual traditions, starting with Sunday Under the Stars. Every Sunday evening from May 26 through August 4 (excluding June 23.) families are invited to take in the gorgeous New Mexico summer sunsets with the resort’s family-friendly movie screening on the lawn at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Families won’t want to miss the Star Spangled Celebration July 4. The biggest and longest fireworks show in New Mexico is returning for another celebration of our nation’s Independence at Inn of the Mountain Gods. Guests are invited to come out and enjoy an afternoon and evening of live music, barbeque food, jumping balloons and, of course, a spectacular fireworks show as it lights up the sky over Lake Mescalero. The event begins at 3 p.m. and goes till 10 p.m. The event is free for all attendees, but wristbands for unlimited access to attractions and concessions are available for $10. Free shuttle service is also offered until midnight to ensure safe transport to and from parking lots.
Join Inn of the Mountain Gods in saying farewell to summer with food, music and fireworks at the End of Summer Bash on Sunday, September 1. The family-friendly event begins at 3 p.m. with jumping balloons and concessions and at 5 p.m. guests can enjoy live music on the lawn. Once dusk settles in, fireworks will light the sky over Lake Mescalero as music continues to play. Attendance to the End of Summer Bash is free, however jumping balloon tickets are $10 per person.
