Jamey Johnson & Marty Stuart
287 Carrizo Canyon Rd
Mescalero, NM 88340
Jamey Johnson & Marty Stuart are teaming up and coming Inn of the Mountain Gods, Wednesday, July 27. Jamey Johnson signed to BNA Records in 2005 and made his debut with his single “The Dollar”, the title track to his 2006 album The Dollar. Johnson was dropped from BNA in 2006 and signed to Mercury Nashville Records in March 2008, releasing his second album, the gold-certified That Lonesome Song. This album produced two singles, the Top 10 hit “In Color” and “High Cost of Living”. In addition to most of his own material, Johnson has co-written singles for Trace Adkins, George Strait, James Otto, Joe Nichols and Jessie James.
Marty Stuart is known for both his traditional style, and eclectic merging of rockabilly, honky tonk, and traditional country music. For over forty years, the five-time Grammy winning multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, photographer and historian has been building a rich legacy. On his latest release with his band The Fabulous Superlatives, the double-disc Saturday Night & Sunday Morning, Stuart captured all the authentic neon and stained-glass hues of country music – from love and sex to heartache and hardship to family and God – in twenty-three tracks.
Don’t miss these two as they hit the stage at Inn of the Mountain Gods on Wednesday, July 27. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at just $25.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
