MESCALERO, N.M. (Nov. 15, 2019) – Join Inn of the Mountain Gods for a very holly jolly Christmas Tree Lighting on Sunday, Dec. 1 from 1 to 6 p.m. The annual Christmas Tree Lighting is a free family-friendly holiday event.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the holiday season with our annual Christmas Tree Lighting,” said Frizzell Frizzell, Jr., COO at Inn of the Mountain Gods. “We are grateful that we have the opportunity to host an event that brings together families and friends during this special time of year.”
The free event features a number of festive activities for the entire family to enjoy together including a photo station with Santa, cookies and hot cocoa, a Barnes & Noble pop-up shop and more.
1:30–4 p.m.: Photos with Santa – Kids can take a holiday picture with Santa and tell him their gift requests.
4–5 p.m.: Cookies & hot cocoa – Guests are invited to warm up with some delicious hot chocolate and sweet treats.
1–6 p.m.: Barnes & Noble store – Attendees will be able to get a head start on their Christmas shopping at the pop-up shop.
4:15–4:45 p.m.: FREE screening of the movie “A Charlie Brown Christmas” – Inn of the Mountain Gods will be featuring the classic animated movie about Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and his friends as they explore the many meanings of Christmas.
5:15–6 p.m.: Choir – Attendees can sing along to their favorite holiday classics with Christmas carolers.
6 p.m.: Christmas tree lighting – Join Inn of the Mountain Gods as they welcome the holiday season by setting their stunning Christmas tree aglow.
