Mescalero, N.M. (March 28, 2016)— Country new comer and recent Academy of Country Music Awards nominee Chris Janson will perform at Inn of the Mountain Gods on Friday, April 8 followed by rock sensation 3 Doors Down on Saturday, April 9.
Chris Janson, began his career immediately following high school, when he left Missouri to pursue music in Nashville, Tenn. Although he didn’t find immediate success, Janson found his passion for songwriting, penning compositions for stars like Lee Brice, Justin Moore and Tim McGraw.
Janson released a handful of singles, most notably his hit “Better I Don’t” in 2013, but it wasn’t until he independently released the single “Buy Me a Boat” in early 2015 that his career took off. Following its March release, “Buy Me a Boat” peaked at number two on the U.S. Country charts and bumped Janson’s debut-album to a number four ranking on the U.S. Country Albums chart and to number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100.
His most recent single, “Power of Positive Drinkin,” peaked at number 38 on the U.S. country charts and can be heard when Janson takes the stage Friday, April 8 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased at InnoftheMountainGods.com.
Then, rock sensation 3 Doors Down takes the stage Saturday, April 9 at 8 p.m. Hailing from rural Missouri, the five-man rock band rose to success when their single “Kryptonite” became a top five international hit.
Following a debut album that sold more than six million copies worldwide and produced three Billboard Hot 100 singles, 3 Doors Down’s second album sold four million copies and added two more top five singles to the band’s repertoire.
The group just completed their sixth studio album, which was released in March 2016. The first single off the album, “In the Dark,” peaked at number eight on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts. Tickets for 3 Doors Down can be purchased at Innofthemountaingods.com starting at $40.
