Job Summary: Responsible for the overall kitchen operation and insures all kitchen policies and procedures are followed. Creates specials as a test ground for new menu items; Price all new menu items to fit organization’s food cost; Utilize purchasing system and/or approve vendors for food items and kitchen ware purchases; Prepare kitchen staff schedules and approve time keeping records; Develop, monitor and report on budgets; Report and maintain equipment and expense reports and review daily and weekly reports to plan and prepare accordingly.
Job Qualifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and a Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or seven years related experience at a supervisory level. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must have adequate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word and be able to perform daily computer tasks.
Mescalero Apache Tribal Preference. Bi-cultural experience preferred.
