Job Summary: This position performs the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, supporting, and securing of internal and external networks, telecommunications, associated software and hardware, system applications, and network infrastructure. Plays and integral role in a variety of network projects and tasks. Creates and maintains the disaster recovery plan and performs the backups and the recovery for all applications systems and data. Performs testing and installation of new software releases, firmware, and system upgrades. Resolves software related problems. Maintains and monitors all network equipment.
Job Qualifications: Required Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline; Required Certification with Cisco Network (CCNA) or higher). Minimum three (3) years of proven hand-on network administration experience, administering, configuring, securing, and supporting enterprise network environments; experience with Casino/Hotel networks is a plus. Required to have a solid and thorough understanding of installing, configuring, securing, troubleshooting, and monitoring all firewall appliances, networking switches, routers, wireless controllers and access points, and all other applicable networking equipment. Required to have a solid understanding of Domains, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc. Required proficiency in Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Windows 7/8. 1/10, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010-2016 and virtual infrastructure with Hyper-V and VMWare. Required to be “on call” for 24 hour availability; adhere to all business and IT policies and procedures; Must have strong customer focus and demonstrate ability to work within a team environment; Must be a logical thinker with effective analytical and problem-solving skills to visualize solutions to difficult problems; Must possess excellent attention to detail, be able to follow processes and instruction thoroughly. Must have great communication skill, excellent time management skills, strong documentation skills, and business awareness involving a 24×7 enterprise. Must have a commitment for high service quality and customer satisfaction. Must work well under pressure with strong multi-tasking skills.
Mescalero Apache Tribal Preference. Bi-cultural experience preferred.
