Job Summary: The floor specialist main duties consist of care of the entire floor in the IMGR&C the CATC on the overnight shift. This will involve stripping, polishing, waxing, buffing, sweeping and mopping of granite, tile, plastic, concrete and/or pavement. Shampooing and deep carpet extraction of all carpets inside IMGR&C. Steam cleaning of all furniture and chairs located in all public areas. Daily vacuuming of carpets in Casino & Casino pit area.
Job Qualifications: Ability to read and write to 8th grade level; six months job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted; Must have basic knowledge of flooring chemicals to correctly mix solutions; Obtains and maintains a Gaming or Non-Gaming License; Must have a high mechanical aptitude to operate machinery at all times; Previous employment with IMGR&C or CATC will be considered as experience along with satisfactory work history such as job performance, attendance and responsibility.
Mescalero Apache Tribal Preference. Bi-cultural experience preferred.
