Job Summary: Responsible for the daily operations of the Convenience Store and Truck Stop. Supervises and coordinates activities of cashiers and custodian. Assigns duties to team members, schedules break periods and any approved time off. Trains team members in IMG policies and store policies and procedures, job duties and supervises team member’s performance of all duties. Orders merchandise, supplies and equipment. Maintains inventory of all store items at all times, schedules and supervises monthly inventory audits. Records delivery of merchandise compares record with merchandise ordered and reports discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory levels. Inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced displayed and no item is displayed until it is in the system and can be scanned. Prepares sales and inventory reports to management. Maintain budgets and budgetary policies. Conducts interviews, prepares paperwork to hire and trains all new team members. Prepares cashier and custodian schedules, ensures these are posted in advance and team members are notified of any changes. Ensures KRONOS is approved daily, schedules are correct and any approved PTO is entered. Maintains accurate attendance reports on all team members and must be completed and turned in to the Executive Assistant the 6th of each month.
Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to two years job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Previous employment with IMGR&C will be considered as experience along with satisfactory work history such as job performance, attendance and responsibility.
Mescalero Apache Tribal Preference. Bi-cultural experience preferred
