Job Summary: The Human Resources Benefit Specialist is responsible for the daily benefits administration for the employees of IMCR&C to include enrollment, termination, and payroll verification, ACA tracking for compliance, and carrier/vendor reconciliation and payment.
Job Qualifications: High School Diploma. One to three years of experience in Human Resources or benefits administration; Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and manage time effectively; Demonstrated data-entry and clerical skills, that are both efficient and accurate; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work for ensure quality; Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and internet software; Basic knowledge and understanding of the ACA and the reporting requirements; Detailed oriented with the ability to easily identify discrepancies; Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner; Effective problem-solver with the ability to develop solutions; Use/store/maintenance of multiple usernames and passwords; Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee records and private information, understanding of HIPAA and PHI regulations; Use of Window Explorer (electronic file-handling); A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
Mescalero Apache Tribal Preference. Bi-cultural experience preferred.
