MESCALERO, N.M. (June 5, 2018) — Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero, New Mexico, has earned the AAA Four Diamond Rating for the second consecutive year, securing its standing as the only resort in southern New Mexico to receive this designation.
The Four Diamond Rating places the property in extraordinary company, as only six percent of the more than 78,000 inspected and approved hotels are awarded that ranking. Including Inn of the Mountain Gods, there are presently just 15 AAA Four Diamond destinations in the state of New Mexico.
“We’re thrilled to have been acknowledged once again as one of North America’s select accommodations ,” said Frizzel Frizzel Jr., COO of Inn of the Mountain Gods. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work and attention to detail that our incredible team puts forth day in and day out.”
Set in an astounding mountain oasis in the Sierra Blanca range, Inn of the Mountain Gods is highly sought after by southwestern travelers for its lush wilderness, thriving traditions, endless activities and luxurious accommodations.
In the past several years, the resort casino has invested in the property, adding exciting amenities like the Apache Wind Rider ZipTour at its sister resort Ski Apache and Apache Eagle ZipRider over Lake Mescalero at Inn of the Mountain Gods. The property completed a $2.4 million room renovation and added Broken Arrow Tap House, a 127-seat gastro-pub inspired restaurant to enhance the guest experience even more.
This summer, Inn of the Mountain Gods will be introducing a spa, bringing yet another exciting amenity to its already robust line-up of services.
