Tips for first time skiers

Wondering how to prep for your first ski trip? Here are some tips to make your first experience on the slopes as enjoyable as possible.
1: Layer Up. Start with warm, moisture-wicking base layers. add toasty warm mid-layers, and top it off with a waterproof outer layer. Don’t forget warm socks, gloves, and a hat or headband that fits under your helmet.
2: Learn Up. Even one lesson with a professional can help you feel more comfortable on your skis, and teach important basics like how to fall safely.
3: Drink Up. While a winter sport doesn’t seem like thirsty work, you can get dehydrated easily, especially at higher altitudes. Drink plenty of water and don’t forget your electrolytes!
