MESCALERO, N.M. (July 27, 2021) – For the second year in a row, Wendell’s Steak & Seafood received an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator for its diverse and extensive wine list.
Wine Spectator’s annual Restaurant Awards are given to restaurants with thoughtfully chosen selections appropriate for the cuisine and representative of a range of regions and styles. The 2021 awards program recognized dining destinations from all 50 states in the U.S. and more than 72 countries internationally.

The Restaurant Awards, which were launched in 1981, are judged on three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award. This year, there were 1,673 winners of an Award of Excellence, with Wendell’s being one of the recipients.
