Casino Apache Gift Giveaway –now –June 30

A trove of treasure awaits at Casino Apache Travel Center. Earn just 50 base points and receive a gift every Tuesday now through June 30 on Treasure Tuesdays. A different gift is offered every Tuesday from umbrellas and mini choppers to roadside emergency kits and much more. While supplies last. Once all gifts have been given out, players who have earned 50 points receive $10 in Spirit Play.

Fuel Your Play – May 1 – 31 at Casino Apache

Casino Apache helps guests “Fuel Your Play” May 3 – 31.On Thursdays and Saturdays between 5 and 8 p.m., a total of 35 hot seat winners are selected to win up to $200 in free fuel from the Casino Apache Travel Center. Winners receive a minimum of $20 in free fuel and may win more than once within the promotion period. Must be an Apache Spirit Club member. Table games players are not eligible for this promotion.

May Mega Mystery Multiplier – May 1 – 31

May 1 – 31 brings the May Mega Mystery Multiplier to Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache Travel Center, giving Spirit Club players a chance to earn anywhere from two to 10 times the points on their ASC cards. Simply visit the Apache Spirit Club card booth on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays in May to receive a point multiplier for that day and start racking up the points.

Show Us Your Cards – May 1- 31

Casino Apache invites players to “Show Us Your Cards” May 1 – 31 to earn free Spirit Play. Any non-Spirit Club member is encouraged to present a player’s club card from any other casino in the United States to instantly receive $10 in Free Spirit Play, and become eligible to participate in the Apache Spirit Club’s “Win up to $500” promotion.

$18,000 Loco for Locals – Beginning May 2

The Inn and Casino Apache show some love for locals starting in May with “Loco for Locals.” On Wednesdays at CATC and Saturdays at IMGRC, Apache Spirit Club members who play slots or table games between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. are automatically entered into a drawing to win $100 in free Spirit Play or Spirit Bet. Drawings take place between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays at Casino Apache and Inn of the Mountain Gods, respectively. As a bonus, all local Spirit Club members who present their Spirit Club Card at the Big Game Sports Bar and Smokey B’s receive free chips and salsa with the purchase of a full price entrée.

Mescalero Warrior Challenge – Saturday, May 12

The 2nd annual Mescalero Warrior Challenge brings the Reservation’s own Coty “Ox” Wheeler home in a bantamweight bout against formidable opponent Freddie Lux Saturday, May 12 at 7 p.m. While Ox (14-1) is known for his aggressive standup-style of Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and displays of pride in his Apache heritage, Lux (5-1) is a powerful technical fighter who proves difficult for his opponents. The card also includes bouts between Nick Urso (2-1) and Gilbert Cuen 1-1; Clint Roberts (2-1) and Geronimo Gonzales (1-2); Johann Perez (0-0) and Adam McGurk (0-0); Adam Gonzales (0-1) and Ricki Thompson (2-1); and Landon Vanata (0-0) and Adrian Apodaca (0-1), as well as five amateur bouts. Alison Krauss and Union Station – Tuesday, June 19

Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas bring its Paper Airplane Tour 2012 to Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino Tues., June 19. Golf Course – Open for the Summer

Summer is officially underway at the Inn’s Championship Golf Course, offering guests tee times daily from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. along with vacation packages starting at just $199. May weekday rates are $55 for hotel guests and $65 for non-guests, and weekends are $75 and $85 for guests and non-guests, respectively. Sundays Under the Stars – Beginning May 27

Free entertainment abounds this summer at the Inn of the Mountain Gods with Sundays Under the Stars, May 27 – Aug. 26. Film screenings rotate with live musical entertainment throughout the summer. Movies begin after sunset and music at 6 p.m. every Sunday on the hotel’s back lawn overlooking Lake Mescalero.

Lake Mescalero – Now Open

Watercraft rentals are now available on Lake Mescalero for both recreational boating and fishing. Kayaks, paddle-boats and more are ready for an afternoon of fun and adventure on the Inn’s beautiful spring-fed mountain lake. Boating Operations currently run Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.; last boat leaves the dock at 6 p.m., weather permitting. Fishing is also available on Lake Mescalero, stocked with nearly 10,000 trout each year. Equipment rental and bait if provided and guests may purchase a day license at the boat house next to the dock; there are $18 individual day licenses available year-round. Fireworks – Sunday, July 1

Celebrate the Fourth of July at Inn of the Mountain Gods with the grandest Fireworks display in New Mexico.  Watch the sky explode in vivid colors across the beautiful backdrop of Sierra Blanca, reflected over shimmering Lake Mescalero as the Inn hosts a free Celebration and Fireworks on the resort’s back lawn area, Sun., July 1.  Children’s activities and food and beverage concessions begin at 2 p.m. and a live band performs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk (8:30 or 9 p.m.). Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and/or low-back chairs to sit on the grass. Admission is free.
