As surrounding communities continue to recover from the Little Bear Fire we here at the Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache continue to give thanks as we were spared from the most damaging consequences of the fire. In addition, while Ski Apache did sustain minor damage and flooding, the Ski Apache team has been working hard consistently to mitigate issues as they arise, resulting in positive results across the board.
While Ski Apache will not be open for summer recreation as initially planned, plenty of outdoor recreation and entertainment still awaits guests at the Inn including 18 holes of award winning golf, kayaking, fishing and paddle boating on Lake Mescalero and the Kids Summer Program that includes arts, crafts, games and more. In addition, Sundays Under the Stars continues through August 26, offering free live entertainment and movies on the back lawn overlooking beautiful Lake Mescalero. The End of Summer Bash takes place Sept. 2 with free entertainment, fireworks and more on the back lawn starting at 3 p.m. Fireworks over the lake begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. followed by an outdoor movie. Complimentary shuttle rides from Mescalero Big Game Hunts and Casino Apache Travel Center are available from 4 p.m. until midnight and carpooling is strongly suggested
Not to worry! Ski Apache will be open this winter, ready to send you sliding down the mountainside all season long.
Ski Apache Will Open as Scheduled on Thanksgiving
